Founded in 1978, The Brass Bed, fine linens & furnishings began in Cherry Creek North when owner, Rosella Louis, was only 22 years old. She started the business in an old pet store on Third Avenue and sold only handcrafted, solid brass beds.

“Our goal from day one was to offer incredible customer service with exceptional quality, and now 34 years later, we continue to operate with customer service being our number one priority, and the products we offer are the finest anywhere in the world” explains Louis.

Today, the strikingly beautiful showroom, located on the corner of Third Avenue and St Paul Street, is a sight to behold, with fully dressed beds on display. Each bed is equipped with a Hypnos mattress, hand tufted with all natural materials and then dressed with eye catching luxurious bedding, including world class designs from Anichini, Ann Gish, Fino Lino, John Robshaw, Legna by SDH, Sferra, Yves Delorme and more. Today, in addition to beds, you’ll find luxurious bed linens, one of a kind decorative pillows, plush towels, hand forged bath accessories, colorful tablecloths and napkins, nursery items, rugs, Italian dinnerware and more.

Louis says her business has evolved as public perceptions of the bedroom have become more sophisticated. “30 years ago, bedrooms were seemingly off limits. Now they are true living spaces that are beautiful, inviting sanctuaries.” Louis has cultivated suppliers in The United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and France, and continues to maintain relationships with the top textile and home goods manufacturers in the world.

For over three decades, Louis has owned and operated The Brass Bed, fine linens & furnishings. Today she remains proud of her experienced design staff, including her niece, Laura, who is the general manager, and her daughter, Molly, who is the marketing director. “We are ‘World Class’ and ‘Mom & Pop’ all rolled into one special Cherry Creek North store.
